Jim Enter, AART Founder, has thirty plus years in the building material industry. Working for a multi-location company gave him the opportunity to work in sales, operations, and corporate management as well as manage a door shop and a truss plant. As a consultant he has had the opportunity to work with dealers from 2 million to 90 million in sales plus door shops, truss plants, wall panel plants and installed sales.

Jim currently facilitates several roundtable groups.

Jon Davis has 44 years of experience in the building material industry. He was President & co-owner of his own lumber chain for 27 years until selling his business to Star Lumber. For the last 17 years he has worked for Star Lumber the last 11 years as Senior Vice President in charge of Star’s Building Material Division with sales of $80 million in 2006.

He has been very active in his career in various trade associations including: past President-Mid America Lumbermen’s Association, past Vice President – National Lumber & Building Material Association; past Board Member – Do- it-Best; and past Board Member of Dataline Computer’s National Advisory Board.

In addition to his management consulting, Jon is also currently aligned with The American Association of Roundtables as a facilitator for several of their roundtables.

Richard Heath has over 30 years of professional experience in public accounting and the retail building material industry. He worked for over 10 years as the Chief Financial Officer of a multi-location retailer before starting his own practice that focuses on consulting with single store and multi-location building material retailers. His clients include firms with sales from $18 to $370 million. He works with his clients in various financial and managerial areas including evaluation of internal controls and fraud deterrence, financial structuring of organizations, tax and succession planning, financial performance reviews and goal setting.

Richard has worked with and facilitated roundtables in the building material industry for over 20 years. His roundtables currently include roundtables for CFO’s and general managers and owners

Sandy Sawyer has his roots in the lumber and building materials industry. He spent his first years working in a lumber yard and then spent 15 years selling computer systems to lumber yards. Prior to lumber yard facilitating, he spent 6 years as a facilitator for IBM's largest distributor. He has a technological background and believes the value of roundtables comes from sharing business practices and experiences, and then setting goals to achieve above average results.
